“Vivid Arches” is a tent and tarp brand created by Journey Bro., a team that has worked with over 500 vintage tents to date.

This is “SWEEP,” the first product from Vivid Arches.
It was named for its beautifully flowing curves and the dynamic appearance it takes on when pitched—as if it might take flight at any moment as the wind catches it.

Designed to be the centerpiece of a vintage-style campsite, we’ve preserved the free-spirited vibe of ’90s outdoor gear while pursuing beautifully flowing curves—as if it might take flight at the slightest breeze—and a silhouette that seems to reach toward the sky.

In terms of functionality, we’ve generously used high-performance materials capable of withstanding harsh environments.
For the main fabric, we’ve adopted high-strength “Cordura Rip.”
(*Cordura Rip is a high-performance nylon fabric made with high-strength Cordura® yarn, a registered trademark of INVISTA in the U.S.)
Although thin and lightweight, it offers excellent abrasion resistance and high tear strength, along with a water resistance rating of 3,000 mm or more—making it tough enough to withstand even the heaviest downpours.

In addition, Mr. Kogure, the representative of "Kitajyo Kobo" in Niigata, and we teamed up to pursue the ideal arch for manufacturing.
With the common desire to create products that will be used with love and care for many years, we have thoroughly focused on every detail from the sewing to the seams that can withstand all weather conditions to create the toughest and most beautiful silhouettes.
As proof of our pride in manufacturing, we have engraved the "Made in Niigata" logo.
SWEEP is carefully tailored one by one by craftsmen in Niigata.
Made in Niigata" is not a mere indication of the place of production, but rather a symbol of the craftsmanship and craftsmanship that goes into each item.

The size is ideally suited for solo camping. We highly recommend the “low-style” setup, where the front is raised and the rear is lowered to create a low, ground-level view. Of course, you can also enjoy various arrangements to suit your style, such as using longer poles to increase the height and create a more open, airy space.

[Important Information]
・Since each item is hand-sewn by artisans, there may be slight variations in size and weight from piece to piece.
Additionally, due to the design’s exquisite use of curves, there will be slight differences in the finish—such as stitching lines and how the fabric overlaps—for each individual tarp. Please enjoy these as unique characteristics of a handcrafted product, distinct from mass-produced items.

[Precautions for Use]
◆ Water Resistance
・Although the fabric is silicone-coated, rainwater may seep in depending on the seams, the condition of the fabric, and the environment in which it is used.

◆ Setting Up
・Before setting up, check the safety of the surrounding area and set up the tent on a flat, stable surface. Also, use appropriate stakes and guy ropes based on the setup conditions and ground surface.
・During rain, adjust the tension and angle as needed to prevent water from pooling on the fabric. Continuing to use the product while water is pooled on the fabric may result in damage to the product.

◆ Modifications/Improper Use
・Please refrain from using the product for purposes other than its intended use or from modifying the product.

◆ Other Notes
・Due to the nature of nylon, which is sensitive to heat, please refrain from using open flames—such as campfires or barbecues—near the tarp (sparks can cause holes).
・Cordura Rip is a material with excellent lightfastness (resistance to sun fading) and abrasion resistance; however, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or strong friction while wet may cause fading or color transfer.
・Please refrain from using this product during strong winds or inclement weather, as it may be dangerous.
・After use, allow the product to dry thoroughly and store it away from high temperatures and humidity.
